Darling Santa Maria is a gorgeous Mexican woman with an overflowing amount of talent and creativity. From her beginnings in the Arizona valley, she spent much of her life doing everything she does now; writing, drawing, cosplaying. Just generally a kick-ass lady.

 

She attended the Rhode Island School of Design and honed her artistic skills both in and out of the classroom, graduating with a Bachelor's in Illustration and moving to Los Angeles to work in costume, fashion, and graphic design; working for Cirque du Soliel while guesting at conventions such as Anime Expo, Fanime, and Comicon.

But writing steamy slow-burns and titillating fanfiction just never stopped calling to her. She turned her sights on authorship, focusing on love stories that represented her identity in ethnicity, neurodivergence, and sexuality. Darling hopes that she can create more stories of joy and romance that aren't circumstantial or a test of struggle to other POC, ND, or LGBTQ+ characters that mirror her readers.
